Hi, I’m Yvonne, a Visual Communication Designer based on the Gold Coast, Australia. I work across branding, UX/UI, typography and visual communication, and enjoy turning ideas into thoughtful design experiences.
Why I Design
I enjoy understanding what people genuinely need and finding solutions to make their everyday experiences easier and more enjoyable. I also believe good design should make information easier to understand and access, so it can be useful and inclusive for everyone.
How I Design
I start by getting to know the people, context and needs behind a problem, then identify opportunities for design. From there, I explore different directions through research, moodboards, sketching and hands-on experimentation. I use moodboards to shape the visual language and emotional direction, then develop and test ideas through feedback and iteration. This helps me refine the concept and create a final outcome that is both thoughtful and purposeful.
